I’m Gary Crisostomo — a Filipino-American designer & researcher working at the intersection of public service and emerging technology.
About
My path has taken me across federal, state, and local government—designing tools that help people navigate complex systems with clarity and confidence. From AI-powered identity verification for Paid Leave programs, to geospatial platforms at the U.S. Census Bureau, my work focuses on simplifying processes that impact millions.

As a systems thinker, I move between policy, engineering, and design to create experiences that are inclusive, accessible, and built to scale. I believe good government design should feel invisible—quietly guiding people, not blocking them.

Outside of projects, I stay curious. I explore visual systems, prototype wearables, and experiment with how design and AI can push public tools forward.
